One of my first project, around nine years ago. I saw this book cover on a free brochure from www.keepsakesquilting.com and decided to try it! I didn't know the real measurement so I figured my own. The finished block size 5.5" square (but I think now, maybe it's 6" square? maybe I 'eat' the seam allowances ? ^_^). It was 9 x 13 rows and the finished size 67"x92". I machined quilt it and what a lesson I've got! My seam reaper done a lot of hardwork repeatedly reaped it open because the backing always wrinkled like an old man's face. Lesson learned! My sewing machine cannot handle thick layers.....LOL! But it's finished anyway, and I love it! Now it belong to my son....
